Sânvasii-Nyárádszentlászló unitarian church

The unitarian church at Sânvasii, was built int the 13-14th century, the wall paintings according to Nemes Ödön’s researches, were made in the 15th century. The mural paintings were made with a blend fresco-secco technique, because of this some of the surfaces are very fragile. They are made in late gothic style.

I’ve been assisting at the uncovering of the frescos and at the mechanical cleaning. The uncovering process was realized with hammers of different sizes and shapes, and scalpels.
